BWT launches its water campaign

Europe's leading water technology company is launching its biggest advertising and sales initiative ever in the Austrian water treatment market with the strapline "BWT does that for me!" The focus of the campaign is the importance of water, the need for top quality water in the home and how consumers can benefit from innovative BWT water technologies.


This is BWT’s first comprehensive image and product campaign to target end-consumers directly and which features BWT’s classic domestic products in multimedia advertising, i.e. household water filters (to protect the drinking water system and the appliances connected to it) and water softening systems. The TV commercial, ads, PR and social media activities will demonstrate how BWT can ensure that households enjoy the best possible water quality. The products featured include:


  • The innovative BWT Mg2+ gourmet table water filter, which removes calcium, taste-inhibiting substances and odours from the water and enriches it with magnesium.

  • The BWT E1 single-lever filter, which not only protects domestic drinking water systems and the appliances connected to it, but is easier, safer and more hygienic than any other filter on the market.

  • BWT AQA perla − for silky-soft BWT ‘pearl’ water that leaves users with supple skin, shiny hair and luxuriously soft laundry.


These innovations from Austria have won major awards, including the Plus X ‘Product of the Year’.


"Water quality in Austria is extremely good. However, dirt and rust particles can easily enter the domestic water system as a result of maintenance work, new connections and miles of ageing water pipes. The water in many areas is very chalky and may lead to limescale formation in household appliances and fixtures, expensive repairs, higher energy costs and clogged pipes," says Lutz Hübner, CEO of BWT Austria GmbH. "We want to raise awareness of water issues and show that BWT and its range of innovative, unique products means the best water quality, in any context."


In Austria, around 1,000 BWT partner companies - BWT’s water professionals - will also benefit from the campaign, all supported by sales promotion packages, exclusive offers, POS promotion material, regional advertising and training.
