Ozone systems

BWT recommends the use of a powerful ozone system to ensure that pool water is safe and hygienic. Ozone systems are preassembled units used for oxidisation of unwanted substances and for the thorough disinfection of pool water.

BWT has a range of ozone generators operating successfully all over the world. These are used predominantly for oxidising and disinfecting swimming pool water in public baths, sanatoriums and hospitals, etc.


BWT Bewazon



The latest state-of-the-art product, the BWT Bewazon, is a powerful system for reliable, cost-effective ozone generation. This compact system features a fully automated workflow process, using an integrated, programmable logic controller. The choice of high-quality materials and system processing not only ensures a high level of reliability, but also a long service life. The generating capacity is integrated as standard, using a three-stage modulating controller, and has an intelligent self-diagnostic system (SDS). Options for the controls are analog signal or data bus.

BWT Bewazon is a vacuum system. This means that both the ozone and the air for drying are generated in the vacuum, from which no ozone can escape. The ozone generation elements are cooled indirectly to prevent any cooling water from penetrating the high-voltage cabinet and causing subsequent damage in the event of any glass breakage. The ozone generator housing is particularly resistant to pressure and the cooling water can therefore be supplied at a back pressure of 8 for further use. Two integrated dryers operate alternately. An automated process controls the switching from one to the other as well as the regeneration of the columns containing hot air.
