Water from private wells

More than 900,000 people in Austria obtain their water from private wells or springs, and regular inspection by an approved laboratory is recommended if it is used as drinking water.

Drinking water is our most important ‘nutrient’. A chemical-physical, toxicological and bacteriological analysis should not only be used for information, but also as a basis for comprehensive health and safety management in your installed system. Owners of private wells and springs may have higher levels of water hardness, contaminants and pollutants, so BWT can offer specific solutions for the effective treatment of contaminated water:

  • Multi-layer filtration
  • Iron removal
  • Manganese removal
  • UV disinfection

A range of BWT processes can be used to treat water from wells or springs:

BWT Filtertechnik
BWT-Filtration
BWT Enthärtung
BWT-Softening

BWT Kalkschutz
BWT-Limescale protection

BWT Desinfektion
BWT-Disinfection
