Aesch, July 22, 2005 – Christ Ultrapure Water AG, a member of the BWT Best Water Technology Group, has been awarded a contract to provide a complete Ultrapure Water (UPW) and Deionised Water (DI) treatment plant for the Chinese company IVO. The facility will be one of the largest flat screen panel manufacturing plants in China. The contract value is confidential.
This major project includes the building of a complete water treatment system with a capacity of 1000 cubic meters/hour for a new fifth-generation (5G) plant in Kunshan, China. This represents the successful establishment for Christ in the flat screen panel (TFT) industry in China which is of strategic importance.
Christ will act as the integrated turnkey solutions provider with overall responsibility for the project and guarantees process integrity.
